For couples eloping on the Oregon Coast
GUIDED- NEVER OVER-DIRECTED
You will not be abandoned in front of the camera with no idea what to do. I give you gentle direction when you need it while leaving enough room so that your real body language and chemistry show up. The goal is not to make you look naturally affectionate with a strangers pose, it is to bring out how the two of you already connect.
EXPERIENCE THAT SHOWS UP WHEN PLANS CHANGE
Ive photographed in rain, wind, hail, sun, dark, indoor and outdoor, windy beaches, mountain tops and locations I have never seen before arriving. Being unfamiliar with a location does not limit me, it keeps me inspired and creative!
I come prepared for elopement day hiccups that inevitably happen. Weather changes, park closures, timeline shifts. I can’t promise that everything will unfold perfectly, but I can promise that I’ll stay calm, think quickly and find the strongest creative solutions so that your day runs as smoothly as possible.
PHOTOGRAPHS ROOTED IN REALITY- NOT PERFORMANCE
You’re not planning your elopement around a photoshoot. You’re planning a day full of adventure, people you love most, questionable dance moved, nervous hands, happy tears and moments that will disappear before you realize they happened.
My work blends documentary, storytelling, with an editorial style. That means your emotion stays honest, the compositions stay intentional and you never have to choose between beautifully directed portraits and the unscripted moments happening around you so that you have memories that will last a lifetime.
TIMELINE THAT LETS YOU BREATHE
We’ll account for travel, changing light, tides, and secluded spots throughout the day so that you’re not stressed about a tight timeline, how lighting looks, or if there are tons of people around.
CAMERA-SHY IS COMPLETELY FINE
Most of my couples walk in feeling unsure about being photographed— and walk away with images that feel effortless and true to them
You wont be asked to fake anything (but a silly laugh here and there) or hold poses that feel unnatural to you. I’ll guide you gently, then step back so that your connection can shine through.
When you're able to be yourself, laughing, moving, breathing, thats when the most memorable images come to life.
