You will not be abandoned in front of the camera with no idea what to do. I give you gentle direction when you need it while leaving enough room so that your real body language and chemistry show up. The goal is not to make you look naturally affectionate with a strangers pose, it is to bring out how the two of you already connect.
EXPERIENCE THAT SHOWS UP WHEN PLANS CHANGE
Ive photographed in rain, wind, hail, sun, dark, indoor and outdoor, windy beaches, mountain tops and locations I have never seen before arriving. Being unfamiliar with a location does not limit me, it keeps me inspired and creative!
I come prepared for elopement day hiccups that inevitably happen. Weather changes, park closures, timeline shifts. I can’t promise that everything will unfold perfectly, but I can promise that I’ll stay calm, think quickly and find the strongest creative solutions so that your day runs as smoothly as possible.

You wont be asked to fake anything (but a silly laugh here and there) or hold poses that feel unnatural to you. I’ll guide you gently, then step back so that your connection can shine through.

In my ten years as a makeup artist I have learned the secrets to long lasting, and weather proof makeup so that you don’t have to stress about it sliding off, washing away or fading.Relax, breathe, and let me take care of you. Your elopement day shouldn't begin with stress or a thousand things on your to-do list. This is your time to slow down, and soak in the excitement of the day ahead. I love to pamper my brides, take a little extra time and not rush the relaxation process so that you can feel fully ready for the days events.

Officiating & Making It Official
Let's make it official without the paperwork headache. I'll help you understand the marriage license process, what documents you'll need, and what steps to take before your elopement so that you're not left trying to figure it all out on your own. I'll guide you through the legal details so you can focus on the exciting parts of getting married.
A meaningful ceremony without the overwhelm. I will gently guide you through private vows, and ring exchanges while capturing the moments between you two so that you don’t feel overwhelmed with a script. I will also help prepare vows (personal or not) so that your feelings and promises can be spoken truly and meaningfully.

Personalized bridal hair and makeup designed around your features, personal style, wedding attire, and overall vision with a collaborative approach to creating your desired look. From glam to natural.
Thoughtful preparation for an outdoor setting, with consideration for wind, moisture, and the conditions of your day.

Officiating & Marriage Paperwork Guidance | Let's Make It Official
Professional officiant services for your elopement. (Help with writing vows and personalizing the ceremony portion of your elopement)
Guidance on marriage license requirements and the paperwork you'll need to prepare. Wether in the states, or out of country I will be sure to provide all the information so that you are not overwhelmed.
Completion of the officiant's portion of the marriage paperwork and submission as required by law.

8:00AM — A Slow, Beautiful Start
We'll begin with bridal hair and makeup, giving you time to relax, enjoy the moment, and get excited about marrying your favorite person. I'll also capture some getting-ready details and candid moments along the way.
11:00 PM — Getting Ready & Final Touches
The finishing touches, getting dressed, jewelry, perfume, and those little moments before you see each other. No need to rush—we'll leave room for the unexpected.
12:00 PM — First Look & Couple Portraits
Whether you choose a private first look at your hotel, air bnb or on location, I’ll capture the anticipation, emotion, and excitement. We'll ease into portraits while you get comfortable in front of the camera.
1:00 PM — Travel to Our Next Location
We'll head to your ceremony spot or another beautiful location. Travel time between locations is part of your full day coverage, so we'll plan our route thoughtfully.
1:30 PM — Your Ceremony & Saying “I Do”
It's time to get married! We'll leave room for your vows, the exchange of rings if you choose, a first kiss, and those just-married moments.
2:00 PM — Making It Official | Cafe lunch break | Making it official
We'll take care of the required signatures and marriage paperwork, making sure the appropriate sections are completed. I'll guide you through the signing process so you know what needs to happen. Get some food and relax, bathroom break and a chance to sit and take everything in.
3:30 PM — Exploring the Area
We'll visit another planned location or two for a change of scenery—perhaps dramatic cliffs, a secluded beach, or a forested trail with easy access, downtown streets. The possibilities are endless
5:00 PM — A Private Moment Together
This time is yours. Maybe you'll exchange private vows, pop champagne where permitted, cut the cake, or simply walk hand in hand. I'll capture the experience without making every moment feel like a photoshoot.
6:00 PM — Golden-Hour Portraits
If the season and weather cooperate, we'll finish with beautiful evening light, romantic portraits, and those cinematic images you've been dreaming about.
7:00 PM — The Last Frames & Farewell
We'll wrap up with any final photographs, a few quiet moments together, and a chance to celebrate the day you've created.

I'm Mindy, the photographer and creative heart behind That Beach Photography, and That Beach Travels is my invitation to couples who want their love story to take them beyond the familiar.
I believe your wedding day should feel like you. It can be slow and intimate, spontaneous and adventurous, romantic and a little unconventional.
